Always carry of can of “Fix-a-Flat” in your car or truck — not just so you can fix a flat tire of your own, but so you can help somebody else needing help by the side of the road. Tell them to do the same thing next time. The cans don’t cost much, and it’s just a nice thing do. Makes you feel good.
The cans don’t work in cold weather, though, so leave it inside in winter time, until it’s time for a drive.
