Took the wind-blown ferry from coastal CT to the North Fork of eastern Long Island to the site of some extraordinary perennial gardens; ate very well, drank some nice Chateau Neuf and moonshine, conversed with the finest of friends (new and old; thank you Margaret Milo Connelly), watched big mother waves break on the beach, and came home to my dog with leftover slices of pie and some nice seeds for free admission to “one toke over the line, Sweet Jesus…”
(That’s just between you and I, OG, and 12 gazillion NSA folks.)
Thanks to Life and all of you, from Peter
