Light changes

A light exists in Spring

Not present in the year

at any other period

When March is scarcely here.

–Emily Dickinson

And she is right. The light changes in spring.  It happens in one day,  just one day, when suddenly the light changes from winter to summer. There is no spring on that day. The light has changed.  It’s not the equinox or anything else that I know of. The light simply changes, and if you’re watching you’ll know it.
